LAST MINUTE HALLOWEEN PARTY IDEAS

Halloween is tomorrow - BOO! Don’t be scared! We have some awesome last minute party ideas that you can totally pull off!

Set up a table for crafts, snacks and fun when the kids get home from school. Use this as an opportunity for them to unwind, relax and EAT before they go tooling around the neighborhood to get hopped on candy.

If you’re inviting kids + parents, I like to add a little thought to the table and do so by creating a simple, fall, floral arrangement inside a cauldron!

To decorate, I put cobwebs on the walls, BOO balloon letters that you can find at a local craft store and inflate with air + tape to the wall (!!) as well as line the table with kraft paper for easy clean up when the party ends which it will quickly!

For a little craft, I got pumpkins that I spray painted black with chalkboard paint (which you don’t have to, you can keep them as is) and i set out glue, studs, chalk, pom poms, crystals and more for the kids to decorate their pumpkins with. I also got black tote bags for the kids to decorate with stick on gemstones and stickers and use for trick or treating.

For a super simple costume if you have a last minute melt down or malfunction is hair spray! Get colorful hairspray at your local drugstore and spray your kids (or your!) hair for a magical transformation.

To eat, order up a pizza but serve it with some healthy snacks like cut veggies (in orange and green!), chips and dip (hollow out a pumpkin to use as a bowl for the chips or dip! and a blood orange punch (leave the liquor on the side so the kids can enjoy and the adults can spike if they like!

For a sweet eat if you feel like that’s necessary and I only do because it’s so pretty and the adults will love it, make chocolate bark. Melt white, dark and orange chocolate together, spread it onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, smooth it out and let it set. Add some edible eyeballs before it dries and once it’s ready, break it apart and serve.
