Our Favorite Shoots Out in the Hamptons
Every year when the school year ends, Seri packs her bags and heads out to her house in the Hamptons. Maggie and I still work out of the city but take every chance we can get to go out there to style some shoots in her gorgeous home.
It's almost that time of year again so we're reminiscing on some of our past shoots to get some inspiration going for this summer. Check out some of our faves!
Make it Happen with Maybelline - Major dinner party goals! I love the look of this extra long, perfectly set, table. The Floral arrangements down the center give it pop of color and I love the way that they found a cool way to personalize each place setting - with a cool photo of the blogger rather than a traditional written card.
Field Trippin' Around the Hamptons - One of the best parts about being out East is all the cool spots we got to explore when we're not working. Seri, Abby, and Maggie went on an adventure last summer to find all the cutest spots in the area, and boy did they succeed! Along the way they found some great spots to grab a bite & that never hurts either ;)
An Effortless Backyard Dinner Party - Where do I even begin?! This one gives me serious boho vibes! It is so easy to throw together in a pinch which makes it perfect for last minute outdoor entertaining. All you need is your closest girlfriends, some pillows, and some wooden crates! Add in some florals and some booze and you'll have yourself the most gorgeous backyard gathering ever.
Hot Dogs On The Porch - I like this shoot because it was so low key. We didn't use a lot of props, we didn't need a lot of space, etc. It's super casual and easy to recreate if you are having a friend over for lunch or just want to style your families afternoon swim session snack nicely. We made it into a hot dog bar but you can easily turn this into whatever kind of bar you want - ice cream, s'mores, hamburgers, whatever!
Taco Tuesday - One of the easiest lunches to throw together in the summer is tacos. There's tons of farmers markets happening around town and so we always have fresh fruits and veggies at our disposal to play with - perfect for Taco Tuesday toppings! The key to this set up is this gorgeous table runner we found. How perfect is that?!The pineapple centerpiece and cool vases definitely didn't hurt either.
