Home For the Holidays
A couple of weeks ago we had a neighboring business owner reach out and ask if we would style their new home for the holidays - and obviously we said YES! Styling in general is our favorite thing to do (naturally) but when it comes to holiday decor it makes it even more fun.
Our client sent us some inspiration images of what decor styles they had in mind and then Seri went to do a site visit so we could see where and what was needed throughout this stunner home. After reviewing all the imagery, it was up to us to turn an already gorgeous house into a festive retreat.
Our client was already bringing in a lot of new items as this was a new home, so we didn’t want to add clutter. Just simple touches that worked with the existing decor but that would add a festive touch. We did this by focusing on certain areas - decorated trees, hutches, and entryway tables. For the main tree under the stairs we went with a black and white aesthetic, that was very modern. The black and white ornaments in combination with the deep brown velvet bows, keep with this tree in line with all the current bow trends while still maintaining a classic feel.
Next up was the entryway table decor. As you can see, this client is very cool and loves art - so what better way to dress up this area then with modern bottle brush trees and ornament garlands. As many of you are aware, we also style a huge holiday party for our friends at the Hallmark Channel, and these bottle brush tree were an item we soured for that event as well. They are so versatile!
In the main living space, we kept it really simple yet elegant with faux evergreen garlands, glass trees, and custom embroidered stockings. Decor that will match with any home, any theme, or any style!
A really fun part of this project was that our client has two young daughters, and in this new house they have a loft area that we were able to bring a more whimsical touch to. We did this by adding a pink tree!!!!!! (you know how much we love a pink tree), and these GORGEOUS holiday village buildings that I have been dying to have an excuse to buy for YEARS.
Over the years we’ve had the pleasure of styling so many homes for various occasions, not just the holidays! One of our favorites has always been a Galentine’s Day lunch we style for the ladies of Seri’s local community. Whether it be inside or out, Christmas, Hanukkah, or Valentine’s Day - we love an excuse to source decor that will last for years to come.
If you have a holiday or special event you’re looking to add decorative elements to your space for, be sure to reach out!
