Get Your Sunnies Ready for Summer!

As you all know, we over here at LMP love a good theme. And the theme for this event was SUMMER! How fun?!

A few weeks ago we were contact by the lovely ladies over at Bella PR to bring their client, The Vision Council’s, vision to life for the event they wanted to throw on the first day of summer in honor of National Sunglasses Day.

The premise was simple - cocktails, a pretty backdrop for photos, and lots and lots of sunglasses for us to help style!

The party itself took place at The Cabana at Catch Steak. Which is a beautiful rooftop venue that has a retractable glass ceiling - something that is not easy to find here in NYC!

As we do with all of our events, we found a source of inspiration to base the rest of our design on. For this event that was their logo which was full of rich summery colors like blue, orange, and yellow.

For the backdrop, we created a custom acrylic sign that had this logo printed on it. We attached it to some faux greenery hedges to match the rest of the greenery the venue already had in place. Then we sourced a beautiful greenery runner to wrap the entire thing that was full of tropical greens. We elevated this by adding in our own florals in the color palette of the logo.

This backdrop was perfect for guests to take pictures with all night and was even used as a perfect spot for The Vision Council to host a panel in front of.

Next up was the product display - which was where we brought in all these fun sunglass styles! We sourced beautiful shelving through Taylor Creative and added in lots of elements to really make the set up feel special such as acrylic risers and displays, ivy, custom signage, vanity mirrors, and of course florals.

In the product display section we even had some vinyls made that would help guests figure out what their face shape was before selecting a style!

Other fun elements that we incorporated throughout the space included custom hashtag signs, coasters, napkins, and more.

We had so much fun decorating this space just in time for the start of summer. We can’t wait to create more fun and vibrant events like this one all season long!
