Get Your Halloween Treats Ready!

It’s hard to believe that Halloween is next week! This is how I always end up with a last minute Halloween costume, because I always think I have more time than I do to prepare. So I’m writing this post so that you don’t end up like me. If you have kids in your life especially, it may be nice to get them involved on a little bit of treat making!

Over the years Debi has come up with the BEST holiday content, including Halloween. Check out some of our favorites below!

HOCUS POCUS SPELL BOOK BROWNIES

If you are a Hocus Pocus fan, then this one is an obvious yes. Personally I’m a Halloween Town lover, but we can have that debate some other time :) These brownies are SO cute! Just cover them in chocolate, add a little icing details, and of course that edible eyeball to give it that extra spooky touch!

PEANUT BUTTER MARSHMALLOW RICE SQUARES

This one is even easier to decorate! So its the perfect activity to get the kids involved with. Just have them drizzle white chocolate all over and then add two little dots for eyes. Easy Peasy! These are even perfect to bag up individually for Halloween!

Boo Bark

Probably the simplest of the recipes on the list. Boo bark is for those of us that are NOT bakers (aka me). You really cant mess this up much. All you have to do is melt chocolate and add in some fun treats. Once its chilled, you break it up!

BAT CUPCAKES

If you know how to bake simple box cupcakes, then you can easily turn them into bat cupcakes. All this involves is some edible eyeballs, chocolate frosting, and an Oreo cookie! If you have any kids in your life, this one is an easy activity to do with them on Halloween or in preparation for a class party.

Dark Chocolate Pumpkin Brownies with Pretzel Crust

And if you don’t want to to decorate your desserts necessarily, but still want something fun to enjoy as maybe an after dinner treat - try these sweet & salty brownies. The ones we used had orange sprinkles on it to make it feel “Halloween-y” and seasonal without it being too much.
