Favors We Wouldn't Mind Keeping

Over the years, we’ve orchestrated quite a few party favors. Sometimes the client requests something specific and we make it happen for them and other times, we get to let our creative juices flow. Our goal is always to find a memorable “something” for guests to keep long after the event is done. In some cases that can mean its sentimental and other times its just fun!

So if you’re planning a party anytime soon and need a few ideas on what send your guests home with, check out some of our past favorites below!

dinner plates

For this intimate family dinner party, we created a gorgeous take away that I’m sure everyone still has. These matte black plates from CB2 were the perfect background for this amazing custom calligraphy by Paper Finger.

Tote Bags

A gift thats functional will never be a waste. Which is why these personalized dip dyed tote bags are such an awesome gift. Your guests can actually use them following the event! We got these bags made on minted, but this is something you DIY as well if you’re crafty! And if you want to go the extra step, fill that tote bag up with some of your favorite goodies!

CANDY

Listen, I know candy as a favor isn’t the most revolutionary idea but we have a few tips on to make sure your guests are actually happy to see this as the favor. First off, splurge on a candy brand that is a little more elevated like Sugarfina. Their packaging is so cute and they have a lot of fun flavors such as their cocktail collection that is awesome for anyone of age! Our next tip to elevate this classic favor is to make custom tags. If you aren’t skilled in graphic design, you can easily go on Etsy and find a seller that has easy, customizable downloads that you can print at home!

MINI WINE BOTTLES

You know what never goes to waste? Booze. Easy peasy. This is the perfect favor for a party crowd. They can drink it the night of, or save it for a rainy day! The way we suggest elevating your bottle is by creating custom labels like Seri’s cousins did here for their big day.

SCENTED CANDLES

Another useful gift! Candles are always appreciated. Buy them when they’re on sale and save them for your party! Grab ones that have beautiful and neutral packaging so that they can blend into anyones home. When picking out a scent, choose one that is calming and light so that your guests with sensitive noses can enjoy them too.

MUGS

So usually I’d advise to stay away from personalized “swag”. People typically don’t want to keep items that have something random written on it like “Tim’s 40th Birthday Party”. The exception to this rule is if you can build that special event into a cool logo or design that people don’t mind keeping. This tin mug we got made for one of Luke’s birthday parties is a great example of that. We built in the birthday aspect, but when people look at this mug they see this awesome camp design Maggie made and this cool red mug!
