A Tailgate Party on the Go

This post has been sponsored by Snack Factory® Pretzel Crisps®. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

If there’s one thing we love more than a party at Little Miss Party…it’s a party on the go! And in honor of football season, we have the perfect excuse to pack up a party in our car and bring it with us to our favorite tailgates.

If we’re being honest, we’re really in for the food, drinks, and quality time with our best friends. These tailgate game days can be so long, and full of a lot of heavy foods which is why we always stray to our favorite light snacks like Snack Factory® Pretzel Crisps and veggies, which we pair with our favorite dips. We always feel so much better knowing they’re made with simple ingredients, contain 0g Trans Fat, and no saturated fat or cholesterol when we’re going into a day that we KNOW will be filled with lots of eating and drinking.

Now, we might not pay close attention to the game, but we sure do know how to celebrate football in style. Here’s how we kicked off our morning to prep for the cutest tailgate party. We gathered up some supplies to create personalized snack bags so everyone can have their own cup, spoon, straw, and napkins to make for less fussing around once we arrived at the stadium. With so little tabletop space, you need to keep it SIMPLE for everyone.

First, I gathered up some brown paper bags and papers in team colors (Team Pretzel Crisps, that is!). I always feel like stripes can be so sporty, so I cut out the pieces in triangles to layer on the bags before I glued them down.

Next, I took adhesive felt letters and added everyone’s initials on the front so we each knew whose was whose.

And finally, I added a fun bunting banner along the top in marker and gathered my supplies for everyone’s snack bags, including Original Pretzel Crisps that we knew would pair perfectly with any dips we brought along. Luckily, we had the convenience of picking them up quickly on our way to the game in our local grocery store’s deli aisle. We grabbed mini bags for everyone, and a big one to share, since we knew everyone was going to want to stop by our party!

We packed up our bags with cups, straws, napkins, and Pretzel Crisps and headed out!

As usual, we got right to it with decor. Seri brought out some cozy pillows and blankets first. These items are SO necessary for football season, because the days can get so chilly after being outside for so long. We all like to cozy up in the trunk together to enjoy our snacks and drinks, so a little extra comfort is just what we need. Natalie brought some paper flag bunting, which we always feel has such a sporty vibe, while still remembering that we are here to celebrate. A little detail like this really turns a tailgate into a party!

Next, we broke out the ice bucket, sodas, pre-prepared bags, trays, and snack spreads. We popped out our most compact wooden table and used it to hold our tray of veggies and dips. We chose a horseradish dip and a chipotle cheddar dip, with pimentos on the side to top it.

Naturally, the last step was to bring out a bowl and pour up our Pretzel Crisps for everyone to snack on. They were just as delicious on their own as they were with our dips, proving how nice it was to have these on hand because they’re just so versatile for all our friends to enjoy.

Of course, we eventually made our way onto drinks. We found a yummy raspberry soda that was the perfect sweet addition to our savory spread.

Natalie, Seri, and I definitely didn’t want to have to share our Pretzel Crisps, so we held tightly to our own bags through the whole tailgate party! Everyone knows not to mess with us and our snacks on game day, and we clearly stole the show with our whole spread.
